Jonathan Rainbow:
So Mister Mc.G, how are you holding up? A big man like you
Must be tough on you to hear about your son?
Want to have a little chat.
Mister Mc.Grandy:
I never talk about these things. Never learned to do that
My wife she is wonderful to me but I can’t talk to her about these bad things. She always says look on the bright side.
DAMN, DAMN. WHAT BRIGHT SIDE! YOU TELL ME!
GIVE ME THE BRIGHT SIDE OF HAVING CANCER.
I DON’T WANT TO CRY, OH MY GOD MY SON HAS CANCER. HE HAS GOD DAMNED CANCER.
WHY GOD WHAT HAVE I DONE WRONG TO DESERVE THIS. I WENT TO CHURCH EVERY DAMN SUNDAY.
LIVED MY LIFE AS A GOOD CHRISTIAN I CANNOT TAKE THIS ANYMORE. JONATHAN, MY GOD JONATHAN HELP ME PLEASE. I DON’T KNOW WHAT TO DO.
Jonathan Rainbow:
Mister Mc.Grandy, I know it hurts like hell. Maybe losing my best friend, who do I turn to when I want to nag about the weather and try all the restaurants in the neighborhood? It looks like I have taken life for granted and our friendship. Why, why, why,
Mister Mc.Grandy:
Now we are both crying our lungs out. We have to be strong for him. What came over me? I never get mad that easily and my emotions drawn out of me. It was you Jonathan. You made me feel secure. Yes, you made an old man feel secure. Secure enough to show his emotions. I really love my wife but what you just did. Thank you for being there for me and my son. You two never got married.
Jonathan Rainbow:
I guess we never thought about it.
We better get inside before they miss us and
hot coffee is waiting.

Little party

Richard’s little party is a success. He was so surprised.
He asked everybody to leave him alone for a while but the fantastic four just ignored it. When you are ill, share it with the ones you love. It makes it al a little bearable.

Richard Mc.Grandy:
Wow, you really surprised me. While I specifically asked to stay away but I am glad that you did not listen. Mom, dad, my dear friend, best friend, Jonathan, my one, and only apple of my eye Theresa Mc.Grandy I do love you and thank you for being with me.
Theresa Mc.Grandy:
You start crying you make me cry too! Come here my little brother. I know it sucks. I always will be there for you. You dare leaving me maybe when you are one hundred years old but not now.
Misses Mc.Grandy:
She is right! We are going to get through this, together
Give mommy a big hug. I will make us some coffee or tea.
Theresa would you give me a hand. Let the men have their moment
Theresa Mc.Grandy:
Dad, where are you going?
Misses Mc.Grandy:
Let him go Theresa! He can’t deal well with situations like this.
Bad news always makes him so. I never saw him cry.
As long as I am married to your dad as if, there is a big lock on his heart keeping his emotions hidden from the rest of the world?
Jonathan Rainbow:
Shall I keep an eye on him? Better, get my coat, its windy.
Richard Mc.Grandy:
Well everybody is leaving me.
Misses Mc.Grandy:
Come on! Not everybody we are in the kitchen.

Migrath:
Look master and listen. Oh, yes Jonathan Rainbow.
Who is the other one? Richard? This young chap is very sick.
Best friends, they are, yuck.
Raboesh, do you want to be my best friend? Hi, hi, hi,
Raboesh:
Sure but first I have to kill you because my best friends they don’t talk that much. So shut up.
The Dark Lord:
So our dear gifted one is very venerable we must use this.
You two, make up a plan that works, this time.
We have to make contact and offer him magical medical care
for his dear friend.
Migrath:
We could use the possessing spell.
Raboesh:
Who could we posses?
Migrath:
Richard must have friends. Maybe he has friends who can take him on a little trip to the sea in scheveningen.
Raboesh:
What is scheveningen? Something you can eat.
Migrath:
No, stupid Name of a place in the mortal world
Raboesh:
I know it is in the Netherlands. Why in the Netherlands and not in the United States of America
Migrath:
Because!
Raboesh:
Because, What!
The Dark Lord:
Silence, because there are no-more creatures that carry the gift as almost as complete as this one.
Listen, look. Yes, sister He has a sister.

Making Plans

While the Angel of light and Ghilonno watching Jonathans every move, the Dark Lord is planning an attempt
on the mirror of Algra in his Castle on Magrafty Beloy. In the pitch of hell

The Dark Lord:
Raboesh, Migrath come here!
Raboesh, Migrath:
Yes master
The Dark Lord:
Everybody is talking about the one with the gift.
He is coming, so they say. We must know when and where. Bring me my water of darkness and we shall make our own portal to the awful mortals, they are hideous and they smell! Migrath, give me a drop of blood
Migrath:
But master why me
The Dark Lord:
Don’t be such a sissy. Raboesh; knife
It will not hurt a bit and relax or I will cut your arm off.
You want that, SILENCE!
A drop of blood in this water of darkness will do the trick.
Raboesh:
Migrath, don’t look, here it goes
Ooh, that is a nasty cut
The Dark Lord:
Throwing this water on the floor
Here we go.
Flaming the flames you all mighty of all evil show me the portal of mortals for we are humble at your feet. Show us the one with the gift the one that we need!

There it was. Evil has found its way again to track another gifted one but this time someone whose gift is nearly completed.

Misses Mc.Grandy:
If you put it that way then I think you are right, we should.
We will meet you at his house around eight.
Jonathan Rainbow:
See you both tonight. I will buy him that ring I promised him if our friendship should last for 20 years or more. He will be surprised.
Misses Mc.Grandy:
He would love that but what if he is not in the mood
Jonathan Rainbow:
Will get him in the mood, even if I have to get naked and howl at the moon.
Misses Mc.Grandy:
I think the ring will do. Ha, ha, ha see you tonight.
Bye.
Jonathan Rainbow:
 Bye misses MC.Grandy.

Arthur Simmons:
I am so sorry Jonathan! Your best friend!

Jonathan Rainbow:
Yeah, he is. Today we should have celebrated our 20th anniversary of our friendship and we are going to do that.
Arthur Simmons:
You should do that, celebrating live and friendship.
Jonathan Rainbow:
Hé thanks Arthur, have to go now.
Arthur Simmons:
Give my regards to mister wise guy.
Jonathan Rainbow:
I will bye.
Arthur Simmons:
 Bye now
Jonathan Rainbow:
What a great idea, I think I will arrange something small for him. He would like that. First, give his mother a call.
Where’s my cell. There it is.
Misses Mc.Grandy:
Misses Mc.Grandy, Hi Jonathan nice to hear from you
Richard has been asking for you he is feeling a bit down.
Quite a shock for all of us!
Jonathan Rainbow:
I was just wondering if we could throw a little, just the four of us, party for him.
Misses Mc.Grandy:
A party, there is no reason for a celebration?
Jonathan Rainbow:
Well, there is. It is the 20th anniversary of our friendship, today.
I think we should celebrate that. Well it sounds funny but we should remember that. Not a real party just a little reminder.
Friendship this long is very rare and not be taking for granted.
He must know that. I know he knows but with a little extra.

Jonathan Rainbow:
